Lady Kassie's Rose Cottage
The inspiration for Lady Kassie's Rose Cottage, named for Barbara's youngest daughter Kassie Lillian, are the cottages of Thomas Kincade's bucolic paintings. With its French Chateau stone exterior and English Ivy, you will feel like you are in The Cotswolds rather than just an hour northwest of Houston.
As soon as you see the unique mahogany door, you will know you are someplace special. The glass inset, etched with "The Rose Cottage", will offer you a glimpse inside before you enter.
The ironwood hardwood floors, fireplace surrounded by hand sculpted porcelain roses, hand finished kitchen cabinets, and stainless steel appliances are just a few of the details you will appreciate in this luxury accommodation.
The 48in TV features local channel's only.
The master bedroom has a solid oak hand-carved king headboard. The bay window looks out onto the countryside, and the beadboard ceiling provides an open, airy feel to the room.
There is a separate bath with marble tiled floor, large shower, and hand-painted double sinks.
Enjoy rocking on the back porch while watching deer come and graze. The backyard of the cottage is a favorite spot for whitetail does to bring their fawns to play and learn.
The wooden footbridge, stone walkway, exterior chimney, rosemary hedge, and rose bushes complete the English cottage look.
